Aether Biomedical in a remote EU setup is seeking a Senior Technical PM / Technical Proxy PO to own a complex Java enterprise application, with a focus on stability, API integrations, and translating business needs into technical priorities. You'll collaborate with backend engineers, manage production incidents, and lead backlog refinement and sprint planning while navigating legacy systems.

Qualifications

Technical background in CS/Engineering and/or hands-on software development.
5+ years of experience as a Technical PM/PO/Proxy PO in complex enterprise IT environments.
Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Technical product management & delivery for an existing enterprise Java application.
Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical tasks for engineering teams.
Own, refine, and prioritize the technical product backlog.
Balance new features with bug fixes, production issues, and technical debt.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery follow-up with backend developers.
Analyze REST APIs, JSON payloads, endpoints, and integration flows.
Use Postman and SQL to investigate production issues and trace data flows.
Work with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
Navigate legacy Java architectures to maintain stability.
Triage production incidents and coordinate technical discussions with stakeholders.
Maintain visibility of risks, blockers, dependencies, and roadmaps.
