Job summary

Proactive Technology Management is seeking a mid-senior Technical Project Manager for a remote, full-time role. You will guide clients through the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery, interfacing with our PMO and engineering teams.

You’ll manage detailed project plans, collaborate across a cross-functional team, and uphold Lean UX principles. Strong communication, independent work, and a STEM degree are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in technical project management, engineering management, or technical product ownership.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Lean UX.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft Azure (preferred) and AWS (desirable).
• Familiarity with data warehousing, hyperautomation, and AI/ML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using Monday.com.
• Lead and manage a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Ensure projects follow Way of Working principles, including Lean UX and GTD-inspired workflows.
• Communicate progress and risks to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and satisfaction with services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
• Perform enterprise data modeling tasks to support business processes and reporting needs.
