Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Solutions Architect III to provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for critical business applications on a Defense Technology platform. This remote role supports efforts across the U.S., with preferred candidates located in Boston, MA or Dayton, OH, and requires strong collaboration with CoEs, pre-sales, PMs, and internal teams.

The position emphasizes independent solution development, complex requirements analysis, and architecture standardization

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5–7 years of experience, or a Master's with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and supporting large-scale system implementations.
• Proficiency in test architecture development and technology validation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for business applications.
• Lead a sub-team of designers and specification writers to support system implementation.
• Develop test architectures and technology validation strategies to enhance system efficiency.
• Foster collaboration with technical teams ensuring integration and adherence to architecture standards.
• Contribute to architecture standards, guidelines, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Support pre-sales qualification as a technical expert when needed.
• Work with project/program managers to execute the SOW contents.
• Create project status reports and manage issues and risks.
