Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Technical Product Manager to define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of technology services. This role balances business outcomes with technical feasibility to deliver scalable, high-value solutions.

You will lead cross-functional Agile delivery, translate complex requirements into actionable tasks, and partner with engineering to improve reliability, efficiency, and customer experience for a remote, US-wide team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of proven experience as a Technical Product Owner/Manager or similar role, with a focus on technical products.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, API design, devops, cloud computing, and data management.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward a shared vision.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as tools like Jira or Trello.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for capabilities and platform evolution.
Balance business priorities with technical feasibility and user needs.
Drive automation and self-service capabilities to improve efficiency.
Define and standardize services and capabilities within the workstream.
Translate complex requirements into actionable tasks for engineering.
Own the product backlog and align with business priorities.
Lead cross-functional Agile delivery and drive sprint execution.
