Job summary

Inspira Financial, headquartered in Oak Brook, IL, seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst for Production Support to triage defects across Investment Platform products and lead root-cause analysis. You will work with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure defects are understood, prioritized, and resolved with the right business outcome.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience troubleshooting production issues and performing root-cause analysis.
Experience writing clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience collaborating with development, QA, product managers, and support teams.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog prioritization.
Experience using SQL or similar data-querying tools.
Experience using logs/monitoring tools to troubleshoot system behavior.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent tools.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage competing priorities and move investigations toward clear decisions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary triage owner for production defects and escalations across Investment Platform products.
Evaluate issues escalated from Tier 2 support, confirm business impact, gather evidence, and determine next steps for resolution.
Perform advanced troubleshooting using data, logs, and understanding of business rules.
Partner with developers to support root cause analysis and validate corrective actions.
Analyze rules, workflows, data conditions to classify issues and identify gaps or enhancements.
Develop evidence-based recommendations on severity, priority, and resolution approach.
Assess production issues using severity criteria and support incident response as needed.
Work with client service to prioritize the production defect backlog by impact and urgency.
Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for fixes and enhancements.
Engage QA early to define test scenarios and validation expectations.
Support release readiness and post-production validation to ensure regression safety.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align on solutions and outcomes.
Document findings, decisions, and validation results for future reference.
Maintain knowledge articles and troubleshooting playbooks.
Analyze defect trends to identify prevention opportunities.
Identify recurring themes and recommend improvements to reduce escalations.
