Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead PMA-207 weather radar modernization, integration, and sustainment efforts. The role requires evaluating complex engineering issues, managing system requirements, and guiding cross-functional teams across Government, OEM, and contractors.

Occasional travel and on-site support are expected. Responsibilities include systems-level analysis, trade studies, interface documentation, and engineering artifact development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Extensive systems engineering experience across the lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements, interfaces, verification, and validation.
• Experience with military aircraft, avionics, or complex aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities: requirements development, decomposition, traceability, verification, and validation.
• Analyze system interfaces between weather radar and aircraft avionics, displays, navigation, and subsystems.
• Develop and review system specs, IRDs, test plans, and engineering artifacts.
• Provide technical leadership during reviews and meetings.
• Support ECPs, RFIs, and other engineering change documentation.
