Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Systems Engineer to support PMA-207 weather radar modernization, integration, and sustainment. You will develop system requirements, analyze interfaces, and guide lifecycle activities across Government, OEM, and contractor teams.

You will lead complex technical efforts, perform trade studies, support airworthiness and certification, and brief senior leadership on recommendations. A Secret clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive systems engineering experience.
• Experience supporting airborne weather radar systems or similar avionics/aerospace systems.
• Experience with requirements development, interface analysis, and verification/validation.
• Experience coordinating activities across Government, OEM, prime contractor and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Systems Engineer supporting weather radar modernization, integration, and sustainment.
• Develop and manage system requirements, analyze interfaces and lifecycle considerations.
• Perform system-level analyses of radar capabilities and assess performance and reliability.
• Provide trade studies to evaluate modernization and sustainment options.
• Develop and review IRDs, technical data packages, test plans, and verification procedures.
• Support ECPs, technical directives, and engineering change documentation.
• Assist in airworthiness/certification activities for radar integration.
• Lead complex technical efforts with limited oversight.
• Brief senior leadership on technical recommendations.
