Job summary

Enterprise Mobility seeks aSenior Systems Engineer to ensure availability, performance, and capacity of high-availability rental systems. You’ll bridge development and operations with a software engineering mindset, monitor health, resolve production issues, and participate in capacity planning and architectural improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software development, strong JAVA/Web Services/C/C++, and experience with middleware and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must reside in the United States (not Alaska or Hawaii).
• Must be able to work CST core hours.
• 3+ years in software development engineering environment with JAVA/Web Services/C/C++/PLSQL.
• 2+ years Middleware use and configuration (Tuxedo/WebLogic/Tomcat).
• 2+ years AIX/Linux sysadmin experience.
• 2+ years scripting for automation (Shell/Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell).
• 1+ years Splunk or Dynatrace experience.
• Commitment to security in daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain availability, performance, and capacity for HA Rental Systems.
• Monitor solution health and SLA compliance; address production issues.
• Assist with maintenance events like patching and upgrades.
• Collaborate with architects to improve capacity, performance, quality.
• Provide documentation and guidance to team members.
• Lead technical efforts on large complex assignments.
