Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Systems Analyst – Senior to join the Ambulatory Surgery team. This remote role requires Epic Phoenix certification or equivalent transplant experience, and a strong background supporting transplant clinics, troubleshooting system issues, and partnering with operational and clinical stakeholders.

Under general direction, the analyst will define requirements, develop/maintain applications, and provide IT services to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Epic Phoenix certification or transplant experience required.
• Experience supporting transplant clinics and workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and partner with clinical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for end-to-end support.
• Project management and cross-team collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand transplant workflows: referral, waitlist, organ offers, surgery, and follow-up.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and mentor junior staff.
• Document requirements and create/validate test plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and enterprise teams on implementations.
• Write and analyze complex reports for business users.
