The Application System Analyst III – Phoenix serves as a senior technical and operational specialist supporting Epic Transplant (Phoenix). This role partners with clinical, operational, and IT teams to support user needs, optimize workflows, and maintain system configurations. The analyst plays a key role in implementation, support, and continuous improvement of Epic applications to ensure high‑quality healthcare technology solutions.
Partner with the Outpatient Implementation team to build, test, and support go‑live activities for Transplant departments, ensuring configurations meet clinical and operational needs.
Evaluate current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and design optimized future‑state processes in collaboration with clinical and informatics stakeholders.
Lead sessions with end users and SMEs to gather and document business needs, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
Perform advanced Epic build, including orders, documentation tools, and decision support, in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
Develop and execute test plans and scripts, validate system functionality, and resolve issues prior to deployment.
Provide hands‑on support and guidance to end users during implementation and go‑live.
Serve as a project lead or subject matter expert, coordinating cross‑functional efforts, tracking milestones, and reporting progress to leadership.
Monitor system performance post‑implementation, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize user experience.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and workflows; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure all system configurations and processes align with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and Epic standards.
