Job description

Job Title: Epic Applications Analyst IV (Phoenix – Transplant)

Contract: 12-month contract with potential extension up to 3 years

Requirements:
  • Epic Phoenix certification (required)
  • Epic Ambulatory OR ClinDoc certification (required)
  • 5+ years of Epic application analyst experience in healthcare environments
  • Experience with multi-organ transplant centers across healthcare organizations
  • Experience with Epic Phoenix implementation, workflow design, and optimization (not just support)
  • Experience in outpatient transplant workflows including referrals, evaluation, and waitlist management
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal oversight
  • Experience with cross-functional coordination, escalation, and project support
  • Proficiency in workflow analysis, process improvement, and operational standardization
Preferred:
  • Experience with Epic Phoenix billing workflows or revenue cycle integration (strong plus)
  • Experience training end users and supporting adoption of Epic workflows
  • Experience working within large health systems or enterprise EHR environments
  • Ability to support change management and stakeholder alignment initiatives
  • Experience partnering with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
Summary:

This role supports Epic Phoenix within our transplant program, focusing on optimizing and standardizing workflows across outpatient transplant operations. The analyst will assess current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design improved workflows across referrals, evaluation, waitlist management, and longitudinal care.

This is not a ticket‑based support role. It requires hands‑on experience with implementation‑level workflow development and optimization and the ability to operate as an independent contributor.

First 90 Days:
  • Learn current Epic and transplant workflows
  • Build relationships with transplant stakeholders
  • Conduct current‑state workflow assessments
  • Deliver actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, care coordination, and patient experience
