Job summary

Carex Consulting Group is partnering with a healthtech industry partner to hire a Senior Systems Administrator & Endpoint Engineer to oversee core IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration, and endpoint management across a fully remote organization.

This role combines hands‑on technical support with infrastructure ownership, supporting a diverse Windows and macOS environment while improving security, automation, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of hands‑on Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Strong Windows and macOS troubleshooting in a professional environment.
• Experience with Intune and Apple MDM platforms (Kandji, Iru, or similar).
• Experience managing device configurations, compliance policies, software deployments, and endpoint lifecycles.
• Familiarity with patch management and vulnerability remediation tools (e.g., Action1).

Responsibilities

• Own the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).
• Serve as the primary escalation point for internal IT support, resolving complex issues.
• Manage an endpoint environment with Windows and macOS devices.
• Design, deploy, and maintain endpoint security and compliance policies using Intune and Apple MDM.
• Oversee automated patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Administer identity and access management processes, including provisioning and access policies.
• Support developer-facing macOS environments and related tooling.
• Identify opportunities to automate IT tasks and standardize configurations.
• Partner with DevOps to establish infrastructure ownership and scalable processes.
• Monitor endpoint compliance and security posture and implement remediation.
