Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support an AI training project as a contractor (~15 hours/week). Work remotely with flexible scheduling on tasks involving reinforcement learning environments and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools.

You'll design reproducible environments, verification, and reference solutions for bug fixing, feature implementation, refactoring, and performance tuning, all while documenting results and providing clear technical feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience using Python, Java, Rust, C++, or TypeScript in production environments.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Proven ability to fix bugs and debug complex software systems.
• Experience implementing features and refactoring large codebases.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and tuning.

Responsibilities

• Create reinforcement learning environments for software engineering tasks.
