Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a remote, contractor role (~15 hours per week) to support an AI training project. You will build reinforcement learning environments that evaluate AI models on complex software engineering tasks using MCP tools.

You will design reproducible environments, deterministic verification, and reference solutions for tasks such as bug fixing, feature development, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization. No prior AI experience required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more of Python, Java, Rust, C++, or TypeScript.
• Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience debugging complex software issues and improving performance.
• Track record in feature implementation and codebase refactoring.
• Clear written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail.
