Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil-Structural Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 5+ years.
• California PE license required; SE license in any state preferred.
• Extensive experience in design/review of substation structures and foundations.
• Proven client management and strong communication skills.
• Experience with seismic design and industry codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC).

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews of civil/structural components for substation projects.
• Manage projects and develop junior staff while coordinating with clients.
• Perform and review designs for structures, foundations, and related components under seismic loading.
• Conduct site visits and occasional travel for meetings and industry events.
