Job summary

Forbes Media LLC is seeking a Temporary Senior Strategy Editor, Consumer Revenue, to lead content planning and optimization for Forbes Vetted. You will work with Editorial, Data, Brand Solutions and paid media to ensure timely, competitive content across core categories and affiliate revenue streams.

You will monitor performance, leverage trends and tools like Google Trends and Looker to shape briefs, seasonal planning and paid initiatives.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in commerce editorial or related editorial roles.
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and performance metrics driving traffic & affiliate revenue.
Experience with data tools such as Google Trends, Looker, Semrush and Ahrefs.
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate across Editorial, Data, Brand Solutions and paid media teams.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly content planning across Forbes Vetted’s 10 editorial sections and create briefs based on search demand and business priorities.
Monitor category performance (traffic, rankings, revenue) and provide weekly recommendations for updates and optimizations.
Track search and discovery landscape (SEO, AI Overviews, LLM visibility) to inform planning and optimization.
Monitor Google Trends and news cycles to time updates for high-impact evergreen content.
Support paid media content strategy, including managing Amazon storefronts with the paid social team and auditing SEM content.
Assist with seasonal and tentpole content strategy, identifying evergreen optimization opportunities and promotional language plans.
