• Experience with news stories is a must.
• Demonstrated people management experience including coaching and leading teams.
• Proven success developing social strategies that grow engaged audiences and drive high-value traffic.
• Strong editorial judgment and copy-editing skills for packaging complex stories.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day social strategy across Facebook, X, LinkedIn and emerging platforms; focus on driving high-value audience back to Forbes.
• Manage two audience team members; edit and guide on packaging stories for social; oversee scheduling and operations.
• Own performance reporting and adjust strategy day to day.
• Approve all key social copy.
• Manage the publishing schedule across platforms for editorial, video and commerce content.
• Collaborate with editors and design to package major stories and launches.
• Respond to breaking news moments with real-time publishing.
• Spot platform trends early and flag coverage opportunities.
