Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Senior Curriculum Developer focused on STEM disciplines. You will lead design and development of comprehensive STEM curricula for multiple educational levels, ensuring alignment with NGSS and other standards.

This role emphasizes collaboration with SMEs, instructional designers, and educators in a fully remote setting. You will create engaging materials, develop assessments, and drive continuous improvement in curriculum offerings while staying

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Education, Curriculum Design, STEM field, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive curriculum development experience with a strong STEM focus.
• Experience designing curricula for K-12 and/or higher education.
• Knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning, and assessment strategies.
• Strong understanding of current STEM education trends and standards (NGSS, Common Core Math).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and work remotely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with curriculum development software, LMS, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of STEM curricula for multiple levels.
• Align frameworks with national and international standards and best practices in STEM.
• Create engaging learning materials: lesson plans, activities, assessments, digital resources.
• Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and educators for accuracy.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop assessments to measure outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Lead professional development workshops for educators on new curricula.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
