Job summary

Art of Problem Solving is hiring a Senior Curriculum Developer - Computer Science for a fully remote role in the United States. You will lead and refine CS courses and materials, guiding junior developers while aligning with teacher and student needs.

Strong CS knowledge, writing excellence, and a passion for education are essential. You will oversee content creation timelines, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to teacher training and intern development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field closely related to computer science; advanced degree a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience teaching CS and/or developing advanced CS educational materials, ideally with K‑12 students.
• Strong understanding of the target audience (students/teachers) and ability to translate CS concepts into engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Outline and develop new courses and other educational materials.
• Improve existing materials based on student performance data and feedback.
• Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders into materials.
• Oversee work of junior curriculum developers.
• Review and provide feedback on outlines and materials created by others.
• Participate in teacher training and development of training materials.
• Onboard and develop interns and junior developers.
• Act as consultant and strategic partner within the team.
• Communicate timelines and potential roadblocks clearly.
