Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs for SDTM/ADaM datasets supporting regulatory submissions.

You will lead programming activities, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with statisticians and data managers to ensure high-quality outputs. The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of SAS experience, with macro programming and CDISC/SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
• At least 5 years of SAS programming experience required.
• 2 years of macro programming experience required.
• Phase 1-4 clinical trials experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of CDISC requirements required.
• Understanding of SAP programming specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for SDTM/ADaM datasets and outputs for regulatory submission.
• Lead programming activities, manage resources, timelines, and priorities for studies.
• Conduct QA checks and peer code reviews on all deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to meet project requirements.
• Oversee programming activity for studies, allocate resources and budgets.
• Mentor junior programmers on industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot programming and data issues to ensure timely reporting.
