Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial data analysis and regulatory submissions. You will lead programming activities, ensure deliverables meet regulatory standards, and mentor junior programmers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree, 5+ years SAS experience, CDISC knowledge, and experience with SAP programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAS programming experience.
• R programming experience is highly preferred.
• At least 2 years of macro programming experience.
• 3+ years in the pharmaceutical, vaccines, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Phase 1–4 clinical trials experience and CDISC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for SDTM/ADaM datasets and tables for regulatory submissions.
• Lead programming activities, manage study timelines, and allocate resources.
• Perform QC checks and peer code reviews on all deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to align requirements.
• Mentor junior programmers and promote industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot data issues and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Coordinate multiple projects and drive process improvements.
