Job summary

Celestica is seeking a PCB Layout Sr Staff Engineer to lead physical design of complex multi-layer boards from schematic to manufacturing. You will collaborate with hardware, power, mechanical and manufacturing teams to meet signal integrity, thermal, and assembly constraints.

You will mentor junior staff, enforce DFx/DFM/DFT guidelines, prepare Gerber/ODB++ release packages, and ensure compliance with IPC and EMI standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SI/PI principles and board-level constraints.
• Experience with high-density PCBs (12–28+ layers) and manufacturing handoffs.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and EMI/EMC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead layout and routing of high-density, multi-layer PCBs.
• Collaborate with hardware, power, mechanical and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure designs meet impedance control, thermal, and DFx/DFA/DFT guidelines.
• Generate and manage Gerber/ODB++ files, fabrication and assembly drawings, BOM.
• Mentor junior staff and lead layout design reviews.
