Job summary

Vercel seeks a senior software engineer with strong TypeScript skills to design and scale V, our primary agentic interface. You will implement agent architectures, integrate with multiple surfaces like Slack and web, and ensure reliable, user-friendly AI interactions.

You will collaborate across teams to enable rapid development of new capabilities while maintaining quality, observability, and trust in the system.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency.
• Comfortable across product surfaces and system boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Design and build V as the primary agentic interface across Vercel.
• Build the agent architecture for intent understanding, planning, tool selection, and reliable completion of tasks.
• Ship polished experiences across Slack, web, and other surfaces with rich interfaces.
• Develop evaluation and observability systems to measure accuracy, usefulness, and trustworthiness.
• Establish primitives to enable teams to add capabilities without fragmentation.
