Job summary

Vercel is seeking a senior software engineer to design and build the primary agentic interface for getting work done across Vercel. You will craft architectures that allow V to understand intent, plan work, select tools, and execute complex workflows across surfaces like Slack and web.

Requirements include 7+ years of full‑time software engineering and strong TypeScript skills; experience with agent harnesses (OpenClaw, Hermes, Pi) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency.
• Experience with building multi-surface, AI-enabled systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the primary agentic interface for getting work done across Vercel.
• Develop architectures for intent understanding, planning, tool selection, and reliable execution.
• Ship polished experiences across Slack, web, and other surfaces with rich interfaces.
• Develop evaluation and observability systems to measure accuracy, usefulness, and trust.
• Establish primitives for cross-team contribution of new capabilities.
• Shape how a company operates through an agent, sharing learnings across the org.
