Vercel is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Agent Stack team in New York City. In this role, you will help build eve, a framework for production-ready AI agents, contributing to core features and integrations on the Vercel platform.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of TypeScript/JavaScript experience, understand distributed systems, and are familiar with LLM APIs. The base pay range for this role is $208,000-$312,000, with adjustments based on location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production TypeScript/JavaScript experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• Experience building or operating developer tooling, frameworks, or SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship core eve framework features.
• Build and maintain integrations across eve's channel layer.
• Collaborate with AI SDK, Workflows, and Sandbox teams.

Skills

Production TypeScript/JavaScript experience

Understanding of distributed systems concepts

Experience with developer tooling and frameworks

Familiarity with LLM APIs

High-quality API design
