Job summary

Exceptionly Inc. is seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer for a 100% remote role in the Payment/FinTech domain. You will work with an experienced team to implement DevOps best practices, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and automate workflows across cloud infrastructure.

Required 4+ years of experience, strong AWS hands-on skills (Lambda, EC2, EKS), and experience with Elasticsearch/InfluxDB. Proficiency in Python/Java, plus scripting, is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience, including 2+ hands-on in AWS.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, EC2, EKS.
• Experience maintaining and scaling Elasticsearch and InfluxDB.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, Shell, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, Terraform.
• Experience with CloudFlare, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker.
• SOC1/SOC2 or PCI DSS knowledge would be a plus.
• AWS/DevOps certifications or equivalents are a plus.
• Holding a work permit in Australia is a must.

Responsibilities

• Work on Payment/FinTech domain.
• Collaborate with an experienced development team to solve complex issues.
• Follow and adopt best practices for DevOps.
• Create CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate tools to reduce repeating efforts via scripting.
• Build tools and integrations that monitor and generate alerts.
• Apply cloud best practices and scalable architectures.
• Troubleshoot errors from software to hardware to cloud resources.
• Contribute to Engineering Culture by presenting and explaining concepts to a multinational team.
