Job summary

Exceptionly Inc. seeks a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to join a remote, global team focused on the FinTech/payments domain. The role emphasizes building robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-native tooling to support scalable services.

You will collaborate with engineers across regions, implement best practices, and drive reliability initiatives in a fully remote work environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a similar DevOps/SRE role with hands-on AWS work.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Lambda, EC2 and EKS services.
• Experience maintaining and scaling Elasticsearch and InfluxDB.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with CircleCI and Terraform for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CloudFlare, Chef, Puppet and Ansible.
• SOC 1/2 or PCI DSS knowledge is a plus; AWS and DevOps certifications are welcome.

Daily Life of A Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer

We are looking for aSenior SRE/DevOps Engineerwho is eager to work on Payment/FinTech domain.

Requirements

• Major (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• At least 4 years of experience including 2+ hands-on experience in AWS environment.

• In-depth knowledge of working with AWS Lambda, EC2, EKS.

• Experience in maintaining and scaling storage solutions such as Elasticsearch, InfluxDB.

• Proficiency in Programming/Scripting using Python, Java, Bash, Shell, etc.

• Experience in CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, Terraform.

• Experience with CloudFlare, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker.

• Compliance knowledge/certifications in terms of SOC1,SOC2 or PCI DSS would be a plus.

• Any additional certifications in terms of AWS, DevOps, Compliance, etc.
