Job summary

Tradeweb is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our global, fully remote technology team. You will ensure reliability of our AWS-based platform and infrastructure, contributing to highly available software systems and observability across services.

You will work with ArgoCD, Kustomize, Pulumi, and K8s, across a security-first, high-performance engineering culture. Travel to Jersey City may be recommended for off-sites, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technology operations and engineering experience (ArgoCD, Kustomize, Pulumi, K8s, LGTM).
• 4+ years of scripting/coding experience in Python (preferred).
• 4+ years as an SRE or similar IC role supporting public cloud (AWS) and cloud-native technologies (Lambda, EKS, SNS, SQS).
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to an Agile-Agentic organization with planning, grooming, and story ideation for iterative improvements to our platform.
• Prioritize security in all tasks as the foundational consideration.
• Develop and deliver IT automation and tooling to maintain a highly available platform and reduce toil.
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools, analyze performance, and improve system reliability.
• Triage incidents, assess risk, own remediation for production and infrastructure issues.
• Communicate issue statuses to R&D and non-technical audiences; collaborate to influence architecture decisions.
• Develop observability tools and define SLOs to meet reliability standards.
• Fulfill regular on-call duties to maintain high system availability.
