OpsGenius is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) to own the operational foundation for a large multi-tenant SaaS platform. This fully remote role spans LATAM and requires strong Azure expertise, IaC, and hands-on production ownership across observability, deployment, and cost optimization.

You will work with a senior team, overlapping US business hours, and help harden reliability, security, and disaster recovery strategies in a fast-growing environment.

Competenze

• 7+ years in SRE/DevOps or cloud infrastructure with on-call ownership.
• Deep hands-on Azure experience; Azure SQL DBA ownership expected
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) in production environments
• Strong written and spoken English for cross‑border collaboration

Mansioni

• Build observability with SLOs, alerts, dashboards using Azure Monitor and App Insights.
• Participate in on-call rotation, with incident docs and escalation paths.
• Modernize deployments with blue/green or canary patterns and IaC.
• Tune Azure SQL performance including indexing and execution plans.
• Own backup/restore strategy for Azure SQL including point-in-time recovery tests.
• Tune Cosmos DB RU and partition keys for high throughput.
• Operate container workloads on Azure Container Apps, App Service, and Service Bus.
• Write runbooks for incident triage, rollback, backup restore, secret rotation, and renewal.
• Contribute to cost optimization: right-sizing, autoscaling, tagging, reporting.
• Support security hardening, IAM reviews, DR exercises; collaborate with US team.
