Job summary

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator for a client project. This is a work-from-home opportunity with expertise in SQL and Oracle database environments, including SQL Server clusters and HA/DR configurations.

The role requires strong experience in troubleshooting, capacity planning, and RFC execution via ServiceNow, with exposure to tools like Idera and SolarWinds. SharePoint integrations may be involved.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Execute daily troubleshooting, system setup, error triage, and configuration for SQL Server and SQL Clusters.
• Manage request lifecycles from submission to closeout within ServiceNow.
• Perform proactive capacity planning and system health monitoring using Idera and SolarWinds.
• Respond to and execute assigned RFCs for ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SQL and Oracle database support, development, and maintenance for client environments.
• Assist users with building and configuring SQL and Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot database issues (SQL, Oracle, MS Access) and application integrations (e.g., SharePoint).
• Manage HA/DR and cluster environments to maintain availability.
