Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for our client in a remote-based role. The position focuses on supporting SQL Server and Oracle environments, database maintenance, and enterprise-scale clustering and HA/DR tasks.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, RFC management, capacity planning using Idera and SolarWinds, and ensuring SLA-driven ticket resolution while assisting users with database setup and integrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Daily troubleshooting and configuration for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Manage request lifecycles in ServiceNow.
• Capacity planning and health monitoring with Idera and SolarWinds.
• Respond to RFCs and resolve tickets per SLA.
• Assist users with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot SQL/Oracle/MS Access and related integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for SQL Server and Oracle environments.
• Monitor health and performance, perform capacity planning.
• Process RFCs and maintain SLAs for incident resolution.
• Assist client teams with database design and maintenance.
• Coordinate with application teams on database integrations.
