Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive category development and sourcing execution in collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams. You will lead supplier selection, lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and performance tracking across RFx events.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven savings, and governance across Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party processes, with a remote-friendly setup across the United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Procurement/Sourcing, including 6+ years in software and technology services.
• BA/BS in Business Admin, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Experience eSourcing and spending analytics tools (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua or similar).
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies for cost savings and performance targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute supplier initiatives.
• Create analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs to track progress.
• Provide visibility into supplier spend and performance across the organization.
• Support RFx efforts by guiding project teams through supplier selection processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance to manage source-to-pay processes.
