Job summary

Mission Critical Group in the United States seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Power Equipment and Electronics. The role owns more than $100 million in direct material spend and leads enterprise category strategies across critical electrical components, including switchgear and control packages, with remote work options.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to optimize cost, improve supplier performance, and drive supply-continuity initiatives while guiding negotiations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain leadership.
• Proven success developing and executing enterprise sourcing strategies.
• Experience negotiating complex long-term supply contracts.
• Experience leading supplier performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of supplier quality systems and risk management.
• Experience building executive-level supplier relationships.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise category strategies aligned with backlog and product platforms.
• Lead enterprise sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier selections.
• Aggregate spend and demand, deliver cost reductions and productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance on value engineering and design-to-cost.
• Ensure supply continuity with dual- and multi-sourcing strategies.
• Provide executive reporting on supplier performance and milestones.
