Job summary

SonicWall is seeking a customer-focused Solution Engineer to join our team in Ohio. This role is field-based, supporting sales and channel technical activities with approx. 70% remote work and up to 30% travel.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will design and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions, partner with Sales and channel partners, and deliver compelling technical engagements to address complex business challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or Ph.D. with 1+ year, or equivalent.
• CISSP certification required.
• Experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Support, Professional Services, or Solution Engineering in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales teams to drive technical engagement through the customer lifecycle.
• Support channel partners with solution positioning, deployment and technical support.
• Deliver product demonstrations, PoCs, technical presentations, and whiteboard sessions.
• Provide technical consultation and recommendations aligned with customer objectives.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Marketing, and Solution Engineering teams.
• Participate in regional reporting and technical sales initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders.
• Drive revenue growth through technical expertise and sales acumen.
