Job summary

Splice is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for its Audio Core team. This remote US role focuses on building and improving the audio engine and related interfaces across DAW plugins, Web, Desktop, and Mobile apps.

You will work with Engineering, Design, and Product Management to influence roadmaps, drive complex initiatives, and mentor peers while delivering high-quality, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience building and maintaining production quality audio software.
• Proven ability to drive complex initiatives from problem definition to delivery.
• Expert at performance optimization, real-time systems, and multithreading.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the audio engine powering DAW plugins.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to shape user experience.
• Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews to raise quality.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects delivering measurable results.
