Job summary

Splice is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to lead the audio engine powering DAW plugins and related apps. You’ll work with Engineering, Design, and Product Management to shape the user experience and roadmap, not just to execute tasks.

You will mentor peers, drive complex audio/AI initiatives, and influence technical tradeoffs while delivering high‑quality code across platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building production‑quality audio software.
• Expert in C++ and real‑time systems; JUCE experience preferred.
• Strong architectural and coding skills; capable of driving complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/implementation of the audio engine powering DAW plugins.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to shape UX.
• Represent team in technical discussions and RFCs.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross‑team alignment on goals.
