Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for a remote 18-month contract supporting critical national infrastructure projects. You will design, build, and maintain scalable systems with a focus on automation, incident response, and security adherence.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in on-call rotations. A strong background in Unix/Linux, middleware, cloud tech, and CI/CD is required to drive reliability and

Qualifications

6+ years UNIX/Linux experience with middleware and CI/CD automation.
Strong incident management and on-call practices.
Experience with cloud technologies and network infrastructure.
Excellent communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain resilient, scalable systems for high availability and performance.
Develop automation to reduce manual tasks and operational toil.
Manage incident response, monitoring, triage, and rapid resolution.
Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Incorporate security practices and vulnerability management into operations.
Collaborate across teams using Agile/SAFe with on-call rotations.
Document workflows and architectures using Visio or Draw.io.
