Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start-up and site activation activities for complex clinical studies. You will partner with sponsors, project teams, regulatory stakeholders, and sites to ensure readiness, timelines, and budgets are met in a remote, globally collaborative environment.

You will guide cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance with ICH GCP and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years CRO or pharmaceutical start-up/project management experience
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration
• Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and FDA/EU regulations
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and site activation activities across assigned studies.
• Be primary contact for site activation deliverables, timelines and performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical path activities on time and budget.
• Monitor site identification, essential documents, regulatory submissions, and contract progression.
• Assess risks, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when needed.
• Track site activation metrics and communicate status to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain site activation plans with project teams and budgets.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets and business development initiatives.
