Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications for HUD. This remote role focuses on delivering scalable solutions, automations, and secure workflows across the ServiceNow platform.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust configurations, ensure compliance with HUD security standards, and document development activities throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications for federal civilian agencies.
• Ability to execute SDLC using Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps in HUD-governed environments.
• Experience securing ServiceNow apps per HUD OCIO cybersecurity requirements and FISMA.
• Proficiency integrating ServiceNow with external systems and APIs.
• Ability to translate HUD program needs into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure applications within ServiceNow using App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable applications.
• Execute the full SDLC using Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot integration, MID Server, deployment, and defects.
• Maintain HUD cybersecurity compliance and security documentation.
• Produce technical documentation and update sets.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy workflows.
• Provide governance insights and digital transformation metrics.
