Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical apps for HUD in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions, integrating with federal systems, and meeting HUD security requirements.

You will drive SDLC processes in Agile/DevSecOps environments, collaborate with HUD stakeholders, and create documentation to support modernization efforts and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow apps for federal civilian agencies.
• Proven ability to execute the SDLC with Agile/DevSecOps in HUD-like governance.
• Experience securing ServiceNow apps per HUD OCIO cybersecurity requirements, DHS/OMB directives, FISMA.
• Proficiency integrating ServiceNow with external systems used by federal agencies.
• Translate housing program needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication with HUD stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Manage tasks in fast-paced federal environments while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow apps using App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable apps.
• Execute full SDLC using Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot integration, MID Server, deployments, and defects.
• Apply ServiceNow best practices to minimize technical debt.
• Maintain HUD cybersecurity compliance and federal data protection standards.
• Produce technical documentation and update set logs.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy workflows.
• Provide governance and platform insights for transformation.
