Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications for HUD. This fully remote role supports the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and requires expertise in ServiceNow configuration and integration with federal systems.

You will lead SDLC activities, enforce HUD cybersecurity standards, and collaborate with HUD stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions. A US-based candidate with federal experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow apps for federal civilian agencies.
• SDLC execution using Agile, DevSecOps, or DevOps in HUD/governed environments.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow with HUD OCIO cyber requirements and federal policies.
• Ability to integrate ServiceNow with external systems like grants management and IAM.
• Translate HUD program needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong collaboration with HUD stakeholders including program analysts and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow apps using App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable apps.
• Execute full SDLC using Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall.
• Troubleshoot integration, MID Server, deployment, and defects.
• Apply ServiceNow governance to minimize technical debt.
• Maintain HUD cybersecurity compliance and data protection standards.
• Produce technical documentation and update logs.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy workflows.
• Provide governance insights and digital transformation capabilities.
