Addepar, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Security Operations to lead our Global Security Operations team within the Information Security & Risk organization.

You will own the day-to-day running of detection and response, act as incident commander for security incidents, and partner with our 24/7 MSSP to ensure threats are identified and handled quickly. You will set objectives and strategy, grow a global team, and shape detection strategy.

Competenze

• 8+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• 3+ years of people management experience mentoring security teams.
• Proven incident commander experience leading response and postmortems.
• Hands-on AWS experience: investigating and responding to security events in the cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
• Ability to stay structured and composed in fast-moving environments.

• Lead day-to-day operations of Addepar’s Global Security Operations team.
• Act as incident commander for major security incidents.
• Manage and develop a globally distributed team with on-call coverage across time zones.
• Own the relationship with our 24/7 MSSP, including escalation paths and service quality.
• Define and implement detection strategy and SIEM health; tune alerts and expand log sources.
• Drive AI-driven modernization of SecOps using AI/Ops and automation.
• Build and maintain incident response playbooks and training materials.
• Oversee post-incident accountability, action items, and longer-term fixes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Product to remediate root causes.
• Define SecOps KPIs and provide monthly leadership reporting.
• Lead security awareness initiatives and tabletop exercises.
• Participate in a global on-call rotation for critical events.
