Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Principal Security Architect to lead the cybersecurity architecture practice in a fast-paced environment, spanning Cloud, AppSec, Identity, and Network Security.

You will produce reference architectures, roadmaps, and secure funding for strategic initiatives, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with security, IT, and engineering teams. Remote or Austin-based role requiring hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, or security engineering.
• Expertise across Cloud, App, Identity and Network Security.
• Experience creating reference architectures and roadmaps.
• Ability to translate architecture into viable engineering solutions.
• Align security with business objectives and secure leadership buy-in.
• Familiarity with SABSA, NIST, ISO.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder influence without authority.
• Able to operate in an agile, fast-paced environment.
