Tempus AI in California seeks a Senior Scientist II, Data Solutions - Sales to cultivate pharma partnerships and drive revenue for Tempus products. You will work with clients to translate real-world evidence into actionable insights that support R&D and commercial objectives.

The role focuses on establishing scientific strategies, deep account collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver value and adoption of Tempus offerings in oncology and related areas. Travel ~30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in quantitative/computational biosciences or related field.
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology or related fields.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python and R for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with Clinical Trial Design and Real World Evidence datasets.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed revenue goals for the product line and client accounts.
• Build relationships with R&D and commercial executives to identify value opportunities.
• Develop deep understanding of customer pipelines and commercial objectives.
• Deploy consultative approach to map Tempus solutions to client needs and drive adoption.
• Develop and implement scientific strategies and reports to advance engagement.
• Communicate plans and outcomes to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Team to ensure success against opportunity pipeline.
• Collaborate with Alliance Management/Operations to grow existing business.
• Track progress against objectives and revenue goals; report to leadership.
• Contribute feedback to leadership on client responses and portfolio development.
• Stay informed on pharma industry trends and regulatory developments.
• Travel ~30% domestically and internationally.
• Other duties as assigned.
