Job summary

Instacart is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive adoption of our flagship ecommerce products with major retailers. You will lead consultative, technical discussions, support new implementations, and guide customers through the sales cycle with both technical and product knowledge.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Enterprise Solutions to align capabilities with customer goals and ensure smooth handoffs into implementation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong track record selling technical products and integrating solutions into client environments.
• Ability to develop and own technical presentations and communications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance complex technical concepts with business values.

Responsibilities

• Influence greater adoption of Instacart products and services with the Business Development team.
• Lead technical discussions for audiences from executives to engineers, tailoring content accordingly.
• Develop deep understanding of the Instacart ecosystem to provide consultative services.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to convey capabilities to customers and business teams.
