Job summary

Instacart is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Enterprise Fulfillment engineering team. You will drive the stability, scalability, and extensibility of systems powering the shopper app experience and collaborate with leaders across R&D, business development, and retailer stakeholders.

You will define the technical vision, own the roadmap, and mentor a team of 10+ engineers to deliver enterprise-grade solutions for the world’s largest retailers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in engineering management leading teams of 15+ engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define, communicate, and drive the technical vision and strategy for the Enterprise Fulfillment team.
• Own the engineering roadmap and enable high-quality execution of key business outcomes.
• Establish and champion best practices for production services and reliability at scale.
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of 10+ engineers building enterprise-grade picking experiences for retailers and shoppers.
• Drive recruiting and hiring efforts to attract top engineering talent across a broader organization.
