Job summary

EDB is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support our sales team across Central & Eastern Europe. You will lead technical discussions, deliver demos and value pilots, and work with Product Management & Engineering to translate technical requirements for clients.

You will engage with customers and partners, driving the technical aspects of opportunities while collaborating with Field & Inside Sales to expand subscriptions and services in the region.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in database industry.
Fluency in English and Polish required.
Strong customer-facing experience and ability to identify client needs beyond databases.
Broad relational database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
Familiarity with NoSQL concepts (MongoDB, Hadoop, Cassandra).
Experience tuning and debugging DB servers, SQL, and queries.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers, prospects, and partners to drive technical discussions for the CEE region.
Provide technical expertise to help clients adopt EDB solutions and grow subscriptions/services.
Act as the single point of technical contact for partner engagements and coordinate with local EDB SEs.
