Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Ruby on Rails experience.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with REST APIs and MVC architecture.
• Knowledge of common Rails gems (Devise, Pundit, Webpacker) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write code: Design, build, and maintain clean, efficient Ruby on Rails applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs for front-end and third-party integrations.
• Manage database schemas and data modeling with ActiveRecord.
• Build automated tests using RSpec, Capybara, or FactoryBot.
• Optimize performance and address security concerns.
• Handle background jobs with Sidekiq or Resque.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
