Job summary

CSG is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst – Risk Investigations to oversee collections activity and funding return processes within the Forte payments ecosystem. The role drives post-originations risk handling, working with operations, finance, and compliance teams, and coordinating with merchants and external stakeholders to resolve complex cases.

Responsibilities include managing the collections lifecycle, reviewing aging, initiating repayment plans, and tracking outcomes in case management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years in payments risk, collections, chargebacks, or financial investigations.
• Strong knowledge of ACH return codes, dispute resolution, and merchant acquiring or fintech risk operations.
• Experience with case management systems and data tools (Excel, BI platforms).

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end collections lifecycle for merchant accounts with balances.
• Review aging reports and prioritize queues by risk and recovery probability.
• Coordinate outreach for repayment plans or escalate to legal or third-party recovery.
• Investigate funding returns from ACH rejects, disputed transactions, or compliance holds.
• Analyze transactions to identify fraud indicators and initiate risk actions.
• Prepare management reports on collections performance and recovery rates.
