This role provides guidance to team members, supports quality and productivity, and may involve mentoring staff.

Responsibilities include addressing complex payer issues, ensuring timely reimbursements, and maintaining compliant documentation within a remote, full-time framework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years in hospital revenue cycle or insurance A/R.
• Knowledge of payer regulations and reimbursement guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Researches and resolves the department's most complex accounts and payer issues.
• Provides day-to-day functional guidance and technical support to staff.
• Assists leadership with onboarding, cross-training, and mentoring team members.
• Performs quality assurance reviews and drives process improvements.
• Resubmits clean and accurate claims to insurance companies in a timely manner.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the patient accounting system.
